The Road Accident Fund’s mission is to provide timely and equitable assistance to those affected by motor vehicle accidents through the provision of appropriate social benefits to ensure financial relief and recovery for qualifying individuals.
Purpose of the Internship: The Road Accident Fund is committed to youth skills development, providing graduates with an opportunity to gain work-based experience. Applications are invited for the Enterprise Risk Management Internship from unemployed graduates between the age of 18 and 25. The Internship program will run for a period of eighteen (18) months. Verification process will be undertaken to verify whether you have previous work anywhere within the Republic of South Africa.
Work based exposure may include the following:
- Assessing Risk environment
- Meet with Managers to discuss Risks within their Departments
- Identify risks and suggested mitigations,
- Maintain Risk Register,
- Provide Risk related advice
- Prepare for annual Regional Risk Workshop.
- Assist with Ad Hoc tasks
- Assessing environment
- Attend Meetings
- Identify new compliance violations
- Maintain Compliance Violation Register
- Provide Compliance related advice
- Investigate and assess reported Compliance Violations.
- Assist with Ad Hoc Tasks
- Assist the region with their BCM readiness,
- Provide advice to the region on BCM matters,
- Attend BCM meetings,
- Assist with the BCM Risk Register.
- Assist With Ad hoc tasks
- Attend the Monthly Meeting,
- Provide feedback on Risk and Compliance Issues
- Attend to allocate Action Items.
- Assist with Ad Hoc tasks
Qualifications and other Requirements
- Certified copy of Grade 12 / Matric certificate
- Bachelor’s Degree / National Diploma in Risk Management, Internal Auditing, Compliance,
Business Administration
- Certified copy of your ID
- Certified copy of Academic transcript
- Your CV and motivational letter

Remuneration
The interns will be awarded a monthly stipend.
