The Road Accident Fund’s mission is to provide timely and equitable assistance to those affected by motor vehicle accidents through the provision of appropriate social benefits to ensure financial relief and recovery for qualifying individuals.

 

 

 

Purpose of the Job: The Road Accident Fund is committed to youth skills development by providing graduates with an opportunity to gain work-based experience. Applications are invited for the Knowledge Management Internship for unemployed graduates between the ages of 18 and 25. The Internship program will run for a period of eighteen (18) months. Verification process will be undertaken to verify whether you have previous work anywhere within the Republic of South Africa.

 

 

1. KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS.

 

Work based exposure may include the following:

  • Online and print information searches and enquiries.
  • Online / Electronic resources – Sabinet, Lexis Nexis, etc.
  • Cataloguing and indexing of library materials.
  • Library administration (incl. shelving and labeling of books).
  • Use of the automated library system (WorldShare Management System).

 

Qualifications and other requirements

  • Certified Grade 12 or NQF 4 level certificate.
  • Degree in Library & Information Science (LIS) or a Postgraduate Diploma in Library & Information Science.
  • Certified copy of Academic transcript.
  • Certified copy of Qualification (not older than 3 months).
  • Certified copy of your ID.
  • Your CV and motivational letter.

3. REMUNERATION.

The interns will be awarded a monthly stipend.
