The Road Accident Fund’s mission is to provide timely and equitable assistance to those affected by motor vehicle accidents through the provision of appropriate social benefits to ensure financial relief and recovery for qualifying individuals.
Purpose of the Internship: The Road Accident Fund is committed to youth skills development, providing graduates with an opportunity to gain work-based experience. Applications are invited for the Medical Management Internship from unemployed graduates between the age of 18 and 23. The Internship program will run for a period of twelve (12) months. Verification process will be undertaken to verify whether you have previously worked anywhere within the Republic of South Africa.

Responsibilities
- Provide administrative & operational support to the Medical Management Unit (Head Office), including Case Management
- Assist in consolidating reports and performance statistics from all 5 regional medical management units weekly and monthly
- Assist with analyising systems that are used in in medical operations processes
- Create repositories and maintain all databases used in Medical Management Unit (i.e. claimants on unrdertakings, caregivers, service providers, case managers, stakeholders, etc.)
- Support the handling of stakeholder queries and correspondence, triage by priority
- Reroute escalated queries and allocate them to the relevant region or manager
- Support the development and maintenance of regional databases and contact matrix
- Monitor and track turnaround times in complaint resolution or providing feedback and escalate issues where necessary
- Assist in coordinating stakeholder engagement activities, meetings, and outreach programmes
- Help prepare communication materials, presentations, reports, and briefing documents
- Manage critical communication from Head Office to all regional teams
- Assist with the administration of recruitment process
Qualifications and other Requirements
- Certified copy of Grade 12 / Matric certificate
- B degree / Diploma in Health Science or related qualification, Business Adminitration/Manangement or Legal qualification
- Certified copy of your ID
- Certified copy of Academic transcript
- Your CV and motivational letter

Remuneration
The interns will be awarded a monthly stipend.
