Purpose of the Job: Reporting to the Manager: Fraud Awareness, the successful incumbent is responsible for supporting the carrying out clear communications and training related to fraud and fraud prevention campaigns within RAF.

 

Key Performance Areas

 

Fraud Awareness Campaigns

  • Research and provide feedback to the Manager on developments and trends in the field of forensics and fraud awareness.
  • Assist in running fraud awareness events, liaising with relevant stakeholders to finalize the logistical requirements of the event.
  • Provide suggestions on campaigns to promote the anonymous fraud reporting line.
  • Work with the specialist to draft and develop Fraud Awareness Campaign presentations and handouts/attachments.

 

Fraud Trend Analysis

  • Analyse internal and external fraud patterns.
  • Work with the specialist to investigate geographical areas with high RAF-specific fraud prevalence.
  • Propose solutions to minimise these occurrences through awareness campaigns.
  • Research and analyse relevant information to identify key business issues.
  • Assist in the distributution of pertinent information to departments throughout the organization that may be affected by current fraud trends.

 

Reporting

  • Contribute to the preparation and submission of reports.
  • Report regularly and periodically perform necessary submissions as and when required to provide progress updates and/or inform management decisions.

 

 Stakeholder Management

  • Aid in proactive and progressive relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Deal with inquiries and requests for information from both internal and external stakeholders.

 

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree/ Advanced Diploma in Forensic Investigations/ Commerce/ Auditing/ Law or related qualification.
  • Code EB driver’s license.
  • Relevant 4 years’ experience in a Fraud Investigation/ Fraud Prevention/ Fraud Risk Assessment of which 1 year must have been in conducting fraud awareness campaigns is required.
