The Road Accident Fund’s mission is to provide timely and equitable assistance to those affected by motor vehicle accidents through the provision of appropriate social benefits to ensure financial relief and recovery for qualifying individuals.
Purpose of the Internship: The Road Accident Fund is committed to youth skills development, providing graduates with an opportunity to gain work-based experience. Applications are invited for the Forensics Investigation Internship from unemployed graduates between the ages of 18 and 25. The Internship program will run for a period of eighteen (18) months. Verification process will be undertaken to verify whether you have previously worked anywhere within the Republic of South Africa.
Work based exposure may include the following
- Training
- Collection and presentation of evidence
- Analysis of data
- Investigation and evidence collection
- Testifying
- Report writing
- Fraud awareness
- Interviewing of potential witnesses
- Preparing documents in support of investigations and criminal cases
- Preparing documents in support of monthly reports and stats
- Engaged and consulting stakeholders
- To perform any FID task as and when required
Qualifications and Experience
- Certified Grade 12/ NQF 4 level certificate.
- Certified copy of relevant NQF7 Degree / Advanced Diploma in Forensics Accounting, Auditing, Policing or Criminology and Law
- Certified copy of Academic transcript
- Certified copy of your ID
- Your CV and motivational letter
- Applicants must be unemployed, were never employed in the field of post and never participated in an internship programme in the relevant field of post previously.
- The applicant must not have previously served as an intern.

Remuneration
The interns will be awarded a monthly stipend.
