Internship: Technology & Digital: Service Delivery X1

The Road Accident Fund’s mission is to provide timely and equitable assistance to those affected by motor vehicle accidents through the provision of appropriate social benefits to ensure financial relief and recovery for qualifying individuals.

Purpose of the Internship: The Road Accident Fund is committed to youth skills development, providing graduates with an opportunity to gain work-based experience. Applications are invited for the Digital & Technology: Service Delivery Internship from unemployed graduates between the ages of 18 and 25. The Internship program will run for a period of eighteen (18) months. Verification process will be undertaken to verify whether you have previous work anywhere within the Republic of South Africa.

Work based exposure may include the following

• Manage IT incidents and requests (incidents and requests).
• Provide daily operations support and maintenance for network and telephone infrastructure (1st line support).
• Maintain and update the register of all IT assets.
• Manage VC requests.
• Monthly and weekly reports on system availability.
• Supervise preventative maintenance of printers.
• Establish connection and access to printers for all users.
• Conduct troubleshooting, maintenance, upgrades, and other activities required for efficient working of computer systems.
• Set up new users and configure new equipment.
• Undertake maintenance and repairs on damaged and repairable hardware.
• Provide software and hardware configuration according to business requirements.
• Ensure IT Service availability and continuity.
• Provide ICT support for RAF road shows and CSCs.

Qualifications and Experience

• Certified Grade 12/ NQF 4 level certificate.
• Certified copy of relevant NQF 7 / Advanced Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in ICT or related to discipline.  
• Certified copy of Academic transcript applications with no academic transcript will not be considered.
• Certified copy of your ID
• Your CV and motivational letter
• Applicants must be unemployed, were never employed in the field of the post and never participated in an internship programme in the relevant field of post previously.
• The applicant must not have previously served as an intern.

Remuneration

The interns will be awarded a monthly stipend.
