The Road Accident Fund’s mission is to provide timely and equitable assistance to those affected by motor vehicle accidents through the provision of appropriate social benefits to ensure financial relief and recovery for qualifying individuals.

 

 

 

Purpose of the Learnership: The Road Accident Fund (RAF) is committed to empowering South African youth by providing skills development and workplace learning opportunities. Applications are now open for the Claims Adjudication Learnership, aimed at unemployed young people who have completed Matric (Grade 12) only and are between the ages of 18 and 23 years.

 

This learnership offers participants the opportunity to gain valuable workplace experience and develop Claims Management skills over a period of 12 months.

 

As part of the selection process, verification checks will be conducted to confirm applicants' employment history and determine whether they have previously been employed within the Republic of South Africa.

 

Work based exposure may include the following:

Office Administration

  • Receiving documents
  • Linking post to file
  • Liaising with the various internal stakeholders
  • Retrieving and receiving files for officers from Metrofile
  • Offsite process
  • Drafting of undertakings

 

Cash Management processes

  • Follow-up on offers
  • Liaising with Attorneys for outstanding payment documents

 

Medical Appointments

  • Liaising with the medical appointment liaisons with reference to appointments

 

Printing correspondence

  • Linking it to files and filing
  • This is a core function and continued maintenance is required.

 

Qualifications and other Requirements

  • Certified copy of Grade 12 / Matric certificate
  • Certified copy of your ID
  • Your CV and motivational letter.

Remuneration

The interns will be awarded a monthly stipend.

  5. Should it be found that the applicant previously served as a Learner and did not disclose that info and it is discovered later, the applicant will be disqualified.
  6. Please note that the prospective employees will be subjected to security vetting.
