Internship: Claims Investigator x2

The Road Accident Fund’s mission is to provide timely and equitable assistance to those affected by motor vehicle accidents through the provision of appropriate social benefits to ensure financial relief and recovery for qualifying individuals.
Purpose of the Internship:
The Road Accident Fund is committed to youth skills development, providing graduates with an opportunity to gain work-based experience. Applications are invited for the Claims Investigation Internship from unemployed graduates between the age of 18 and 25. The Internship program will run for a period of eighteen (18) months. Verification process will be undertaken to verify whether you have previous work anywhere within the Republic of South Africa.
Work based exposure may include the following:
- Tracing insured drivers and witnesses and obtaining statements.
- Drafting accident scene sketch plans.
- Conducting inspections in loco.
- Participating in the assessment process of investigation.
- Identifying and escalating fraud and corruption cases to FID
- Handling PAIA-related matters and verifying attorney documentation
- Gathering evidence and recording statements correctly
- Preparing clear and concise investigation reports
- Basic exposure to Loss of Support analysis and compiling a full investigation report.
Qualifications and other Requirements
- Certified copy of Grade 12 / Matric certificate
- Bachelor’s Degree or Advanced Diploma @ NQF Level 7 related qualif ication to discipline(Policing/Forensic/Criminal Justice and any law related qualification.
- Valid Driver’s License.
- Certified copy of your ID
- Certified copy of Academic transcript
- CV and motivational letter

Remuneration
The interns will be awarded a monthly stipend.
